Edwin A. Lee, MD PhD
Biography
Dr. Edwin Lee received his MD and PhD degrees from Christ Church, Oxford University, England. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and his Internal Medicine Residency at Columbia University Medical Center, New York and completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, New York. Dr. Lee is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is currently the Chairman of the Cardiology Department at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC), Los Angeles, California. Dr. Lee is also the Medical Director of the Heart Attack Program at HPMC. He is also an attending interventional cardiologist at HPMC, Glendale Memorial Hospital and Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Dr. Lee’s practice covers cardiovascular preventive care, health screening, wellness, nutrition and fitness for patients with cardiac illness. He also specializes in adult congenital heart disease, complex cardiac interventions, management of patients with severe heart failure, cardiomyopathy and severe cardiac valve problems. Dr. Lee has also authored scientific papers that have been published internationally in peer reviewed journals.
